Wire Containers & Material Handling Equipment in Blades of Steel
What will never fail to cheer you up, even on the gloomiest day? A good Will Ferrell movie. He is fantastically funny in Blades of Glory where he plays professional skater, Chazz Michael Michaels. Ferrell and other professional skater, Jon Heder (Jimmy MacElroy), make an outstanding dynamic duo in the 2007 comedy classic.
Chazz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy are equally talented skaters competing in the 2002 World Winter Sport Games. At the end of the final competition, the two skaters tie to win the gold medal. In the midst of an argument on the awards podium, the World Games mascot gets set on fire. As punishment, both men get their medals taken away from them and are permanently banned from the men’s single skater competition.
Years after the incident, Jimmy is working in a winter sporting goods store when he decides he wants to compete in the World Winter Sport Games pair’s skating competition, but cannot find a partner. Jimmy’s former coach convinces him to contact Chazz, and partner up with him. Chazz surprisingly agrees, and they become the first same-sex pair’s team in history. The rest of the film is ultimately about the two skaters trying their hardest to put aside their differences to pursue their dreams of winning that gold medal.
Some of the funniest scenes in Blades of Glory surprisingly take place in a WAREHOUSE! In one scene when Chazz and Jimmy first train for the pair’s competition, they make the concrete floor into a sheet of ice. It just goes to show you that anything can be accomplished in a warehouse — even Olympic training:
As you can see, there are an abundance of plastic and wooden pallets in the warehouse. There are even wire containers to keep certain products organized and safe. We like that!
This warehouse is HUGE and has a ton of open space, but what’s missing? ORGANIZATION! This warehouse is in desperate need of a pallet racking system. Pallets with stacked product are laying around everywhere in a cluttered mess. Even empty pallets are laying around in random places. This business could fit way more product in this warehouse if they had an organized pallet racking system — and they would be able to find the products a lot easier too!
